Meraki's newest espresso machine, the Gen 2, has just landed at Espresso 79. Before we put anything in front of you, we run it ourselves, and this one has earned its spot. A commercial-grade dual boiler with a built-in grinder and dual scales, it is exactly what you want sitting on your bench for years to come.

Every machine purchased, comes with a free 1kg bag of our freshly roasted coffee, so you are pulling great shots from day one.

• Dual stainless steel boilers (350ml brew, 550ml steam), so you can pull a shot and steam milk at the same time, no waiting
• Commercial-grade rotary pump running a steady 9 bar
• Built-in espresso grinder with 45 grind settings and low retention
• Two built-in scales that weigh your grind dose to 0.1g and your shot in the cup to 1g
• Touchscreen control with over-the-air software updates
• PID temperature control with a heated group head and pre-infusion for a consistent, even extraction
• Dedicated hot water outlet for long blacks, tea and warming cups
• CoffeeSense bean recognition to suggest grind and extraction settings
